CLARENCE MAN ARRESTED ON MADISON PARISH WARRANT; SEIZE METHAMPHETAMINES
CLARENCE, LA.

Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies and Clarence Police have arrested a Clarence man on a outstanding Madison Parish bench warrant, and felony drug charges according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Victor Jones Jr.

On Saturday afternoon at approximately 2:28pm, deputies along with Clarence Police went to a residence at 240 Marquete Drive, Clarence, La., with the warrant.

While there, deputies located the wanted person, and during a search of his person incidential to the arrest, deputies discovered suspected “crystal methamphetamines” on his person.

Deputies also obtained permission to search the residence, and during a search of the residence they also seized additional drug paraphernalia, and weighing scales in the presence of a three month infant.

Percy C. Williams, 33 of 240 Marquete Drive, Clarence, La., was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center charged with 1-Count of Failure to Appear in Madison Parish on Criminal Neglect of Family, Bond: $45000, 1–Count of Possession of CDS Schedule II Crystal Methamphetamines-2nd Offense, 1-Count of Illegal Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in the Presence of a 3 month old child, and Possession of Drug Paraphernlia.

Drug Task Force Agents assisted.

Lt. Craig LaCour and Clarence Asst. Marshal Kerry Anderson made the arrest.
