NATCHITOCHES WOMAN ARRESTED ON OUTSTANDING WARRANT; FUGITVE FROM MINNESOTA

Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a Natchitoches woman on a outstanding a Natchitoches Parish bench warrant, who is also a fugitive from the State of Minnesota according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Victor Jones Jr.

Sheriff’s deputies were attempting to serve outstanding warrants on Friday at approximately 1:30pm, when they located the suspect at residence on Brickyard road, near Natchitoches.

Christina Louise Anderson, 36 of 363 Brickyard Road, Natchitoches, La., was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center charged with 1-count of Failure to Pay Fines of $1650 on a prior simple burglary conviction in Natchitoches Parish.

While booking Anderson, deputies learned through a NCIC computer check, that she was wanted by the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, Minneapolis, Minnesota on the charges of Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Burglary, Trespassing, Theft and Sex offenses.

Anderson was transported to the Avoyelles women’s correctional center on Natchitoches Parish charges including a hold from the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office awaiting extradition.

Deputies say the warrants from Minnesota had been active since November 2008.

Deputy David Mclean made the arrest.
