According to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Victor Jones, deputies recently arrested George Albert Jackson, 49 of Campti, La.,charging him with one count of Aggravated Rape.

Jackson was transferred to the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center, where he remains on a $1,000,000.00 bond.

Sheriff Jones said that DNA was instrumental in solving the case.

Jackson’s DNA was collected in a previous arrest, and matched to the crime through the Combined DNA Index System, (CODIS).
