NWS SHREVEPORT, LA.A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS UP TO 2 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS MORNING BEFORE THE SNOW ENDS. TRAVEL ON AREA ROADS...BRIDGES...AND OVERPASSES WILL REMAIN HAZARDOUS. FREEZING TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL ALLOW ANY MELTED SNOW TO REFREEZE. AS SUCH...TRAVEL WILL LIKELY REMAIN HAZARDOUS INTO SATURDAY MORNING. EXPECTED LOW TEMPS FOR NATCHITOCHES PARISH TONIGHT: 28 DEGREES **Deputies report that area roadways are passable but some roads still contain snow & icy patches. Please use exteme caution if traveling area roadways. **As of 2:00pm, Valley Electric estimates approximately 500 power outages in Natchitoches Parish. Service crews are working to restore power in those areas as quickly as possible. **LSP along with Sheriff's deputies worked a total of 39 vehicle crashes and traffic-related incidents from 6pm February 11th, through 10am February 12th.
