Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested three people on drug charges in Provencal, La., according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Victor Jones Jr.

Sheriff’s Criminal Patrol Units were working in Provencal on last Thursday evening at approximately 7:00pm, when they observed a group of individuals acting suspiciously on Laurel Street.

Deputies made contact with the individuals and while interviewing them, smelled a strong marijuana smoke odor.

Deputies seized suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The following suspects were booked at the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office:

*Joshua Clint Rhodes, 19 of 4366 North Boulevard, Provencal, La., charged with Possession of CDS I Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

*Anthony Movan, 20 of 2077 Kay Road, Provencal, La., charged with Possession of CDS I Marijuana and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia.

*James D. Clarkston, 17 of 160 Antley Road, Natchitoches, La., charged with Possession of CDS I Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernlia.

Rhodes was also arrested October 16th, 2009 on drug charges by deputies and those charges are pending in the Tenth Judicial District Court.
