CAMPTI TEENAGER ARRESTED WITH A LOADED FIREARM
CAMPTI, LA.

Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a Campti teenager on weapons charges according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Victor Jones Jr.

On Saturday evening at approximately 8:04pm, Sheriff’s Criminal Patrol Units were working in Campti when they encountered a group of individuals including juveniles on Mill Street.

While interviewing the group, deputies noticed that one of the individuals was acting suspicious.

Deputies obtained permission to search his person discovering a loaded Excam .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol with a obliterated serial number on his person.

Andre Lamar Demery, 17 of 185 LeBrum Street, Campti, La., was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center charged with 1-Count of Illegal Carrying of a Concealed Weapon, and l-Count of Possession of a Firearm with a Obliterated Serial Number.

Bond has been set by a Natchitoches District Court Judge at $10,000.
