According to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Victor E. Jones, Jr., deputies conducted a two-week investigation before arresting Christopher Joseph Hagan, 21, of 2496 Allen-Beulah Rd, Marthaville, LA. on Monday, August 17, 2009.

Sheriff Jones said the investigation revealed that Hagan had repeatedly text-messaged a female juvenile, soliciting sex.

Sheriff Jones said that the identity of the victim is not being released.

Hagan was booked into the NatchitochesParish Detention Center and released on a $2500 bond, set by the 10th Judicial District Court.

Under Louisiana law R.S. 14:81.3, whoever violates this law shall be fined not more than ten-thousand dollars and shall be imprisoned at hard labor for not less than two years nor more than ten years, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
