The mission of the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office is to:

1. protect the lives and property of our citizens
2. preserve the peace within our Parish
3. prevent crime and disorder while continuously guarding personal liberties as prescribed by law.

Some thoughts from the Sheriff regarding our mission:

• “Uniform Patrol is the heart and soul of the Sheriff’s Office; we will patrol the parish 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and our patrol deputies will always assist and serve our residents whenever needed.”
• “We will maintain our detention center in a secure and humane manner for those incarcerated persons awaiting trial as well as for those persons already sentenced.”
