Visitation Information

Regular Visits

Offenders who are eligible for regular visits are given two visitation days a month. The exact days of the month depend on dorm assignments. The hours of visitation are 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and occur seven days a week by dorm assignment. Monthly visitation information is available at the facility on the first day of each new month.

You may contact the facility to confirm the day of your visit.

Contact Visits

Contact Visits are scheduled on a limited basis. A contact visit is a privilege that must be earned. Contact Visit requests must be submitted in writing by the offender and can only be approved by the officer designated by the Chief. Offenders must be housed in this facility a minimum of ninety (90) days and be disciplinary write-up free for a minimum of ninety (90) days to be considered for a contact visit.

Approved contact visits are limited to four adults, a limited number of children, and are thirty (30) minutes in duration as long as no conflict with security occurs.

Marriages may be scheduled under the same criteria used for contact visits. No special clothing, food or photographs are allowed. It is not the responsibility of NPDC employees to make arrangements for a pastor, judge or justice of the peace to perform the ceremony.
