Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office Press Release

Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a Sabine Parish man, and a Natchitoches woman on felony drug charges according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Victor Jones Jr.
Sheriff’s Criminal Patrol Units were working in the Oak Grove area on Thursday evening at approximately 6:00pm, when they stopped a 1996 Ford Ranger on Hicks Road after observing suspected narcotics being thrown from the vehicle in plain view.
Deputies conducted a search of the area, discovering baggies containing suspected crystal methamphetamine ice.
A search of the vehicle, also led to the seizure of suspected drug paraphernalia consisting of a syringe concealed in a styrofoam cup containing a cold beverage.
Booked into the Natchtoches Parish Dentention Center were:
*Charles M. Paddie, 42 of the 1200 block of Saline Church Road, Converse, La., charged with Possession of CDS Schedule II Crystal Methamphetamines-2nd Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Criminal Obstruction of Justice, Driving under Suspension, Probation Violation, and on a outstanding Sabine Parish Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on Child Support in arrears of $16,875.
Paddie is on felony probation until 2013 due to a prior narcotics conviction.
*Lawanda H. Hasley, 39 of the 100 block of Hicks Road, Natchitoches, La., charged with Possession of CDS Schedule II Crystal Methamphetamines-2nd Offense, Criminal Obstruction of Justice, Littering, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Both remain in the detention center.
