Title: TASK FORCE AGENTS AND DEPUTIES SEIZE OVER $50,000 WORTH OF SUSPECTED METHAMPHETAMINES DURING TRAFFIC STOP

Criminal Patrol units with the Natchitoches Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force and Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office arrest two Richland Parish residents as a result of a traffic stop.
Arrestees:
Tina Marie Dibiasie, W/F, 29, of 95 Woods Road Columbia, La.
· 1 count – Possession of CDS I Marijuana
· 3 counts – Possession of CDS IV (Clonazepam and Alprazolam)
· 1 count – Possession of CDS II with the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
· 1 count – Possession of CDS II Methamphetamine
· 1 count – Possession of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Clinton Harley Johnston, W/M, 30, of Woods Road Columbia, La.
· 1 count – Possession of CDS II with the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
According to a Task Force official, on the 22nd of July 2012, Criminal Patrol Agents came in contact with the above individuals as a result of a traffic infraction on Highway 6 in Natchitoches. During the course of the stop Agents observed the driver, Dibiasie, appearing to be very nervous and at one point she willingly gave suspected marijuana to the Agents.
At that time, Dibiasie was taken into custody while the passenger, Johnston, was detained. Soon afterward, Agents searched their vehicle. Upon searching Dibiasie’s purse, Agents recovered several prescription medications, to include suspected Clonazepam and Alprazolam, as well as a small amount of suspected methamphetamine. As the search continued, Agents recovered a box containing approximately ¾ of a pound of suspected methamphetamine, having a street value of approximately $55,500.00.
As a result, both individuals were transported to the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center where they were booked on the above charges. A bond was later set for Dibiasie in the amount of $22,500.00. No bond was set for Johnston due to a violation of his probation.
